Gasy Animal Aid is a Malagasy non-profit organization. We rescue street animals, nurse them back to health and find them a family. We speak up for animals.

Our goal
Standing up against animal cruelty
The aim of Gasy Animal Aid is to promote the protection and rescue of animals and to fight against mistreatment, neglect and cruelty toward them.
To that end, we help animals in distress, mistreated or abandoned. This help is open to everyone, with no need to become a member of the organization.
Born in 2018 from a group of enthusiasts brought together on Facebook, Gasy Animal Aid has been officially recognized as a non-profit organization since June 2019.
What we do
Rescue, heal, rehome
Rescue
We step in for animals hit by cars and take in stray puppies picked up along the roadside or in rubbish bins.
Heal
Every animal receives the veterinary care its condition calls for, from ultrasound scans to chemotherapy, and we neuter the shelter residents.
Rehome
Once recovered, our rescues are made available for adoption to new families, to give them a lasting and loving home.
The shelter
A home for abandoned animals
Gasy Animal Aid runs a small shelter that takes in around twenty adult dogs and several genuinely abandoned puppies. Every resident is fed, cared for and prepared for a new life.
